This workshop includes hands-on practice with portfolio analysis tools and risk assessment frameworks commonly used in planning.

Tax Planning Implementation

Navigate Canadian tax planning strategies through practical case studies. Explore RRSP, TFSA, and RESP optimization using real client scenarios and current CRA guidelines.

Sessions include step-by-step walkthrough of tax-efficient investment strategies and retirement planning calculations specific to Canadian regulations.

Focus on practical application through case study analysis and hands-on planning exercises. Work with real-world scenarios while developing analytical and problem-solving skills.

Duration: 8 sessions, 4 hours each | Format: Primarily hands-on workshop format with group projects

Advanced Applications (December 2025)

Complete comprehensive planning projects and present solutions to complex scenarios. These capstone workshops integrate learning from previous sessions.

Duration: 4 intensive sessions, 6 hours each | Format: Project-based learning with presentation components

Marcus Chen-Williams, CFP®, CIM

Marcus brings fifteen years of planning experience to our workshop series. His background includes portfolio management at two major Canadian institutions and independent planning practice.

He's particularly skilled at breaking down complex concepts into practical, actionable steps. Marcus holds both his Certified Planner designation and Canadian Investment Manager certification.

Workshop participants appreciate his hands-on approach and real-world examples drawn from actual client situations (appropriately anonymized).
